A&B Gaming from Worthing

We are delighted to be joined this year by ...

A & B Gaming is the tabletop board game toy miniatures and hobby shop for Worthing and Sussex. Started in late 2013, Anna and Bo Stone (A&B... see what they did there?) are working tirelessly to create a unique community based around face to face gaming. Today, more than ever, it is important to meet and play face to face. No chargers. No cables. No flashing lights (unless you're playing Operation, that is). Bliss.

This year they will be running demonstrations of Krosmasters.

This years CARDFIGHT VANGUARD Tournament

As last year we will be holding a Cardfight Vanguard tournament at CONQUEST in October. The event will be held in the evening on Saturday meaning that players will have the rest of the day to enjoy all that CONQUEST has to offer.

As you know it will cost £5 to enter the event (£2 for under 16's) and this year just an extra £2 for  the tournament. Please note you must buy both and entry and a tournament ticket. You will get a chance to win some boosters from the newest Cardfight Vanguard.

The tournament will start at 5pm and will be held in one of the gaming rooms (details, including site plan coming soon). The format will be CLAN FIGHT and will be the best of one game with a 20 minute per round time limit. The number of rounds will depend on the amount of players.

At the end of the event players will be award prize boosters based on their final standings. Every player will get at least one booster and a promo card. The exact prize pool will depend on the number of players and will be confirmed in the coming weeks but will be at least 30 boosters in total. 

Initially the maximum amount of players for this event has been set to 16. So if you want to play then you will need to pre-order your tickets soon. (Once it goes higher than this we will need to review the space at the venue)

Pokemon League Challenge

Again this year we will be running a Pokemon League Challenge as part of CONQUEST.

The event starts at 1pm with registration open from mid day. To play all entrants must purcahase an entry ticket to CONQUEST and a ticket for the League Challenge.

Entry to the Challenge will cost £3 but entry to CONQUEST will cost a different amount depending on what age division you are in. (For Masters it will be £5 and for Seniors and Juniors it will be £2).

In all divisions there will be a booster added to the prize pool for every player.

Clix @ Conquest

This year we are pleased that South Coast Heroclix will again be running a tournament at CONQUEST.

For those that might be interested in entereing here are the event details ...

You will need a 600pts Villain Theme Team. 

Golden Age. No Feats, BFC, Event Dials, Resources or Team Bases.

ID cards only if the character called in could be a member of your Theme Team. 

ATAs and thematic Special Objects actively encouraged. 

Once a player has selected their Theme team - no other player may play that team. 

Highlander rules in effect.

Ghost Hunter

I thank you for your patience. Today I returned from my daring adventures in the Dark Continent to discover that a rather large consignment of the most peculiar parlour games of Far-Eastern manufacture had been delivered to yours truly. Behold the fruits of our labour!

All four decks nestled together in a bespoke wooden box for the first time ever.

That's right folks the games have arrived from Hong Kong with the game mats as well. I have been through the batch and it all looks really good. I'm especially happy with the play mats as they were really a risk, having not done any before. So now on to the next stage in the operation. I need to get these along with other rewards packed up and sent to you! Well easier said than done. Here's what needs to happen for us to wrap this project up. Firstly I need the last eleven stragglers, you know who you are, to complete your surveys. Secondly we need to complete the wooden boxes, these things can't be rushed, and I have assurances that we're on track to get everything out by the end of the month. Lastly we need to source the packing materials and get each reward wrapped up and addressed. There are 284 of you all over the globe and this makes for one complex operation. Nevertheless I believe we are on schedule and should all be proud of ourselves.

In other news, my games are going to have a new online home in the form of GhastlyGames.com, something I have thrown together and would appreciate feedback on. And I intend to showcase Ghost Hunter, all four decks, at Conquest 2016 in Shoreham on the 29 Oct, so if you're in the area and available do come and introduce yourself, or better still come and help me demo the game to new potential recruits.
